10 New Provo Temple Pictures To Inspire You
(Feature photo can be found here: Provo Temple – Heavenly Skies by Rory Wallwork)
This is the second post about the beautiful photos of the Provo Utah Temple that we have on our website. If you haven’t seen the first post, be sure to take a look at it here!
Did you know that the original design for the temple included a statue of the angel Moroni atop a gold-colored spire, but the statue was at some point eliminated from the design? It wasn’t until 31 years after its dedication that one was added. And along with the addition of the statue, the gold spire was changed to white, which is the beautiful all-white temple that we have today.
Provo is also the only city in the world to be host to two Latter-day Saint temples. The second, the Provo City Center Temple, was dedicated in 2016. The two temples are only a mere 2.4 miles apart!
