Alan Fullmer, one of the most talented temple photographers in the world, and one of the first members of our team, recently returned from a trip to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. This was far from his first trip, and it was definitely a productive one! He was able to capture a number of new pictures of both the Laie Temple and Kona Temple. So today we wanted to share his newest temple pictures with you!

Alan is blessed with knowing a number of people who live in Hawaii, which makes the trips both more enjoyable and much easier to make. And when he’s there, he never passes up an opportunity to visit the temples on the islands on Oahu and Hawaii. Having been able to take so many trips to the islands, over the years he has captured some of the most beautiful photos of these two temples that you’ll find.

Alan doesn’t only use a professional DSLR camera – he also owns multiple unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, that allow him to get new and unique angles that have never been seen before. He has appropriately names his series of aerial photos “From On High” and they will soon be available on our website.

Alan’s talent doesn’t end with temple photography. Because he loves to photograph the incredible and varied landscapes to which the islands are home, one of his primary goals for this trip was to visit the legendary lava fields and craters of the islands. He came home with some new and awe-inspiring pictures of those as well. Here are a couple of landscape photos from his recent trip:
