A wonderful artist rendering of the future Austin Texas Temple was released yesterday by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You can see the full, larger rendering below. This temple will be a wonderful blessing to the members in the Austin area when it’s finished, and we’re excited to be able to share the photographs with you when the time comes.

President Nelson announced the Austin Temple a year and a half ago during the April 2022 General Conference, and the location was revealed at the end of that same year. The new temple will be one of eight temples in Texas, once all the temples that are under construction or have been announced are finished. The temples in Texas that are yet to be built or finished are the Fort Worth Temple, the McAllen Temple (to be dedicated next month), and the Prosper Temple.

As is always the case with these early announcements, the detailed design plans for the temple are still being developed. Interior renderings, as well as more information, will be made public at a later time.
