Welcome to another new and wonderful addition of our top temple pictures of 2022! We hope that, despite what could have been a bit of a rough year for many people, you were still able to find hope and peace in Jesus Christ and His gospel. We had two great and inspiring general conferences, during which many amazing things were shared with us. And did you know that a record number of temples were announced during a single year? There were 35 new temples announced to be built! (see our posts here and here). And while there were no new temples dedicated during 2022, there were many, many temples whose ground was broken and construction began. The renovated Washington DC Temple was also finally rededicated in August.

As of the time of this writing, next year we’re hoping to see so many temples dedicated! While not all of these temples have been announced to have their open houses or dedications next year, the temples include the Richmond Temple, Saratoga Springs Temple, Bentonville Temple, Feather River Temple, Moses Lake Temple, McAllen Temple, Helena Temple, Layton Temple, Orem Temple, Taylorsville Temple, and the Red Cliffs Temple. So many temples are being built right now! There are currently 56 temples that are under construction around the world, with 26 of them being in the United States!

What a wonderful time we live in right now. We can’t wait to see the progress of these new temples over the next few years, as well as those many temples that have yet to begin construction. We’ll have so many new temples photograph, and we’re definitely looking forward to the many opportunities!

So now as you look back on the year 2022, we hope you can reflect upon the incredible temple pictures that we’re blessed to have on this website to share with the world; pictures that have hopefully influenced you and brought the Spirit of Christ into your lives. Especially the photos that are in your homes and hold a special place in your heart. Every year we send out so many pictures to your homes, and we’re so blessed to play such a marvelous role in having a picture of the temple in every home, as President Spencer W. Kimball hoped for (see The Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball).
