Two Apostles Give a Tour of the Rome Italy Temple
This is an unprecedented video created within one of the Church of Jesus Christ’s most sacred places.
It may be almost 6,000 miles away from us here in Utah, but you can still feel like you’re taking a personal tour (with two apostles!) of the new Rome Italy Temple with this video published last week.
In the video, Elders Ronald A. Rasband and David A. Bednar, both apostles and members of the Quorum of the Twelve, narrate the meaning and significance of several rooms inside the temple, including the baptistry, ordinance instruction rooms and the celestial room. These areas mirror what is found in all temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around the world. Each temple has a baptistry, instruction rooms, a bride’s room, marriage sealing rooms and a celestial room.
The Rome Italy Temple was dedicated yesterday, March 10, 2019, and is the 160th temple built in the world. If you haven’t seen pictures of the Rome Temple yet, be sure to check out our recent post. And we just had to share this amazing picture (below) of every member of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as they posed for an iconic photograph in the Rome Italy Temple Visitors’ Center in Rome, Italy.
