Sometimes plans change. And that is the case with the Yorba Linda California Temple, as today it was announced that the general design of the exterior of the temple has changed. The change came about due to local permitting and zoning requirements. As you’ll see in the images directly above or below, the update focuses on the spire, which has been lowered. It has also been moved from the center of the building to just above the entrance.

Below you’ll see the new design and the original design directly after. These are interesting changes, but the temple will be no less beautiful. And of course it’s what’s done on the inside that really matters. We look forward to seeing this temple break ground just eight days from now!
